Asus introduces its 10-bit 23-inch ProArt Series IPS monitor

Asus has launched a new 23-inch monitor in India, the ProArt Series PA238Q. Meant for graphics and other design professionals, the new Asus ProArt model claims to deliver unmatched colour accuracy, precisely calibrated to reproduce 100% of the sRGB colour space with an average delta E factor lower than 5. It uses a 10-bit lookup table, exceptional even compared to other professional monitors out there, most with 8-bit tables. The Asus ProArt Series PA238Q has an IPS panel with a 178 degree viewing angle, 1920x1080 pixel full HD resolution, and a dynamic contrast ratio of 50,000,000:1. Other features include picture-in-picture and picture-by-picture interfaces; four USB ports to access storage devices; and the hotkey-activated Asus-exclusive QuickFit Virtual Scale software, which helps automatically resize photos and documents to preset sizes, with flexible alignment support.

The 23-inch Asus ProArt PA238Q monitor has plenty of ports for the professional, with HDMI, DVI-D, DisplayPort, and D-sub options. It has also been designed to be used in portrait mode, and has a fully adjustable height, tilt, swivel, and pivot mount. The PA238Q has been priced at Rs. 17,600 in India, excluding taxes, and comes with a 3 year Zero Bright Dot Warranty.
